Meriah is a 50 foot
Herreshoff Ketch designed in 1935 and built in
Victoria in 1969. She is constructed of
strip-planked red cedar on oak with interior of
cedar, mahogany and teak salvaged from the historic
B.C. coastal steamship, Cardina. Accomodations are
spacious, warm and inviting with two private double
cabins, salon setee and table, library setee, chart
table, galley, heads and pilothouse with pilot
berth.
